  • What makes Peach and Umber different from other salons?
    Peach and Umber takes a holistic approach to beauty. We combine professional natural hair care with wellness-centered services, education, and support. Our team includes a master cosmetologist and trusted wellness partners to help you achieve healthy hair from the inside out.
  • Do you specialize in natural hair only?
    Yes! Our salon is dedicated to natural hair care — including textured, curly, coily, and transitioning hair. From protective styles to deep conditioning treatments, we provide services designed specifically for your hair’s needs and porosity level.
  • How do I know my hair porosity, and why does it matter?
    Hair porosity refers to how well your hair absorbs and retains moisture. Understanding whether your hair is low, high, or normal porosity helps us recommend the right treatments, products, and regimens. You can learn more in our Hair Porosity Blog Post.
  • What should I do before my first appointment?
    After booking your service, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a brief New Client Pre-Visit Questionnaire. We encourage you to come with your hair in its natural state (no heat or excessive product buildup), and bring any questions you may have — we love to educate!
  • Do you offer consultations for scalp or hair concerns like breakage, dandruff, or thinning?
    Yes. We offer detailed hair and scalp consultations to address specific concerns like dry scalp, dermatitis, breakage, or hair loss. We may recommend partnering with a trichologist or dermatologist for deeper insight when needed.
  • Do you recommend products or routines for at-home care?
    Absolutely! During your appointment, we’ll recommend products based on your hair type and goals. We also offer digital resources, like our Healthy Hair Grocery List, porosity guides, and blog posts to support your journey at home.
  • When will my order ship?
    We process all orders within 3–5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
  • How long does shipping take?
    Shipping times vary depending on your location and the method selected at checkout. Most domestic orders arrive within 5–10 business days after processing.
  • Do you offer returns or refunds?
    We currently do not accept returns on hair care or wellness products due to hygiene and safety regulations.
  • What if my product arrives damaged or incorrect?
    If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery at support@peachandumber.com. Be sure to include: Your order number A clear photo of the item A brief description of the issue If approved, we’ll gladly send a replacement or offer store credit.
  • Are digital products refundable?
    All digital downloads (eBooks, guides, templates) are non-refundable and delivered instantly to your email or account dashboard. Other Important Notes: We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers. Sale items and promotional bundles are final sale. Always double-check your shipping address before completing your purchase.
