Peach and Umber Salon offers natural protective styles like Braids, Locs, Twists and Curly styles. There is also an online store where you can purchase natural hair and lifestyle products. These products are meant to add ease to your hair routine and the best part is you have a hairstylist that truly understands hair that can give you advice by creating your own personal regimen card.
THE FOUNDER
I'm Shaniqua Johnson, also known as Nene. I am an omnivert who has discovered that I am not alone in this ever-changing world. I'm truly an artist of many crafts and I don't have a problem operating in them. I have experience as a massage therapist, esthetician, hairstylist, painter, drawer, fashion/wardrobe, and makeup!

Peach and Umber was created with my family in mind. Peach represents Georgia; where I was raised, and Umber represents my family roots (Blackfoot Cherokee). My friends and associates always compliment my earthy style and "jack of all trades" tendencies.

When I graduated high school I had no idea what I wanted to go to college for. I attempted Medical Assisting which I failed at horribly. Because I believe that you shouldn't do something you don't enjoy. That led me to the cosmetology program. I never in a million years thought I would have achieved the careers that I have. I never doubted my drive but I definitely took myself by surprise.
